David Burns is a qualified analytical chemist and a co-founding director of a successful contract laboratory specialising in environmental & pharmaceutical testing. The laboratory operated from 1997 and sold in 2008. David's interest are now centred around his deep passion of the environment and to encourage the uptake of sustainable practices. Most recently, David & his wife collaborated with a leading architect to design & build their own residential home demonstrating as many sustainable features as possible. Their home was a finalist in the 2008 RAIA awards (NSW Chapter) - sustainability category.
